Setting of the Poem from Les Fleurs du Mal by Charles Baudelaire
Sounds and scents swirl delicately in the evening breeze.
Lyrics:
Chaque fleur s’évapore ainsi qu’un encensoir;
Les sons et les parfums tournent dans l’air du soir;
Valse mélancolique et langoureux vertige!
Chaque fleur s’évapore ainsi qu’un encensoir;
Le violon frémit comme un coeur qu’on afflige;
Le ciel est triste et beau comme un grand reposoir;
— Charles Baudelaire

Welcome to my blog. I hope you will enjoy the music and the articles that I have published here. You will already find performances. I hope soon to have scores you may want to download. Maybe even a CD or two.
In upcoming projects I mentioned my Environment Suite. But did not mention my Performance Art Musical: An Adventure in Southern Spain. That’s what this page is for – the latest updates.
My latest recording, December 2016, is by the one and only Paul An – singing my whimsical “take” on Langston Hughes’ “Seven People Dancing” I’ve got to find another ‘whimsical’ one for him. He does it So very well!
P. S. Just found one – coming soon!
